Edge Lipping
Edge lipping is available for our translucent composites to both seal and provide a professional finish to panel edges which will be on display.
Edge lipping finishes include colour matched acrylic or clear acrylic.
Standard thickness is 3mm. For doorsets, 10mm edge lipping is used to allow fixing of door furniture.

AIR-board Orange was specified by Ben Kelly Design for a 'floating' bar front. As the open edges of the AIR-board panels were to be visible, we suggested a matching coloured acrylic lipping with bevelled edges, which not only provided an aesthetically pleasing finish but also ensured dirt and moisture were prevented from accumulating in the core. Our manufacturer produced the panels cut to the sizes required and edge finished. The result is a vibrant and practical modern bar front:
